I don't know whether it's because Stef and myself are water signs, but we both enjoy taking photographs which include water. Sea... stream... rivers... moving water... still water... it doesn't really matter, we love it.
I think it has a visual quality that is unique.
This collection has been compiled from all around the U.K. and, India features strongly.
We particularly enjoyed our time on the waters around Cochin in Kerala. The light in this region is superb. It doesn't matter what time of day it is. There is always something of benefit to the photographer, whether it be hazes from the heat or the multi-coloured umberellas that appear at midday for people to shelter under!
A truly wonderful experience for anyone who is interested in photography. I only wish we could have stayed there longer.
